So, I love the angry crackle and pop noises that these cars make, but, while watching the EVO Boxster GTS video at Majorca, the thought did enter my mind whether this would get old on a car you drove every day... I mean, it sounds great, but every single time he lifts the throttle...

Am I the only person that doesn't like all the crackles and pops? Once in a while sure, but when your car is doing it alot... I dunno.

Yeah, I think it's overkill. Would be cool if it was just occasional, but they've overdone it in a few of these applications.

I've gotten caught in this trap. It's fun. Eventually it becomes a challenge to only pop when you want it to. I prefer rrrrrrrrrpop pop pop to rrrrrrrpssssstsha rrrrrrrrrpsssstsha but that's both my opinion and open to interpretation. Carborated Subaru EA81.

Got a 12' Boss 302, side pipes out before I left the conversion shop (to RHD that is). Never gets old. It actually makes up for the absolutely shite audio system. I pity the author of that article when it get cross posted to the wrong place.
